Happier at Home Mobile Vets

Veterinary / Mobile Services

HAHMV needed a website that reassured anxious pet owners and clearly explained a mobile, fear-free veterinary service.

The Brief

Dr Donna needed a website that did more than just exist. It needed to make pet owners feel safe before they even picked up the phone.

Dr Donna needed:

  • A website that felt calming and reassuring
  • Clear explanations of mobile vet services, educating users about the ‘Fear Free’ movement and how it can benefit pets and owners
  • Content that spoke to pet owners — targeting pet owners whose pets are part of the family and want the best for them
  • The site needed to build trust instantly. Dr Donna had done a great job collecting reviews and testimonials from initial customers and had a professional photo shoot done, which made presenting her new business professionally easy.

The Challenge

Mobile veterinary care is still a new concept for many pet owners. The website had to educate and reassure at the same time.

Communicating Fear-Free Care Online

Explaining the Fear Free approach in a way that resonated with pet owners who may not have heard of it before.

Balancing Warmth with Professionalism

The tone needed to feel caring and personal while still establishing Dr Donna as a trusted medical professional.

Structuring Information Without Overwhelm

There was a lot of important information to convey without making the experience feel dense or overwhelming for visitors.

The Approach

Every decision was guided by one question: what does an anxious pet owner need to see and feel?

1

Structured content around pet owner concerns

Instead of leading with services, the site leads with the problems pet owners face (stress, anxiety, and fear), then shows how HAHMV solves them.

2

Focused heavily on tone and readability

The copy was written to feel warm, supportive, and free of unnecessary medical jargon, like talking to a vet who genuinely cares.

3

Designed with accessibility and clarity in mind

Clean layouts, generous whitespace, and clear visual hierarchy so visitors could find what they needed without feeling overwhelmed.

4

Built trust using testimonials with images

Dr Donna had collected genuine reviews and testimonials from initial customers (with consent and professional photos), which we featured prominently throughout the site.

What We Delivered
