Marketing Automation
Here’s what it looks like for a real Australian small business. Someone enquires on your website at 9pm and immediately gets a friendly email confirming you’ve received it. A job wraps up, and two days later the client gets a review request. A quote sits unanswered, so a polite check-in goes out after three days — then it stops. Nobody nagged. Nothing was forgotten.
That’s all automation is: the stuff you’d do yourself if you had a perfect memory and unlimited hours in the day. It’s not about replacing human connection — the system handles the routine so you can handle the relationships.
Why it matters: consistency. Your follow-up no longer depends on whether you remembered, had a busy week, or were on holiday. The maths is friendly, too. One automated follow-up winning back a $2,000 job you’d forgotten covers the platform costs for the year.
Start small: one or two automations solving a real problem. Don’t try to automate the whole business on day one.
