SEO

Search Engine Optimisation

SEO is ongoing work, not a one-off task — and it splits into three types. On-page is the words, titles, and headings on your site. Technical is the behind-the-scenes stuff: speed, mobile-friendliness, sitemaps. Off-page is what the rest of the internet says about you — links, reviews, listings.

Plenty of it you can do yourself, free: sort your Google Business Profile, keep your NAP consistent, and ask for reviews. And write pages that actually answer your customers’ questions. Don’t write for Google — write for humans, and Google will follow.

Two honest warnings. SEO is a slow burn — expect three to six months before changes show meaningful results. And nobody — nobody — can guarantee a #1 ranking. Anyone promising “guaranteed page one” is lying to you, and anyone selling “100 backlinks for $50” is selling you a penalty.
