Working With Me

Plain Speak Online Services

I built PSOS on a simple idea: small businesses deserve honest, straightforward digital services from someone who genuinely cares about their success. Everything on this page reflects how I actually operate — not aspirations, but commitments I hold myself to every day.

Transparent Pricing

  • No hidden fees. The price I quote is the price you pay. Every cost is included upfront — no surprise charges for revisions, hosting, or platform fees down the track.
  • Clear proposals. Every project starts with a written proposal that breaks down exactly what you're getting, what it costs, and what's included. Plain English, no ambiguity.
  • Honest recommendations. If a cheaper option will work just as well, I'll tell you. If I think you're not ready for a particular service, I'll say that too. I'd rather earn your trust for the long term than make a quick sale on something you don't need.

No Lock-In Contracts

Every ongoing service I offer — whether it's website maintenance, SEO, or digital marketing — can be cancelled with reasonable notice. I earn your business every month by delivering results, not by relying on a contract to keep you around.

If you decide to move on, I'll make it easy. Your website files, your content, your data, your domain access — everything that's yours comes with you, no questions asked.

Plain English Communication

When I explain what I'm doing and why, I use plain English. If I need to use a technical term, I'll explain what it means. You should never feel confused or talked down to.

This isn't just a preference — it's central to how I work. Clear communication builds trust, reduces misunderstandings, and leads to better outcomes for everyone involved.

Your Data, Your Control

  • I don't own your content. The words, images, and branding you provide are yours. The website I build for you is yours. If I'm no longer the right fit, everything comes with you.
  • Access is always shared. You'll always have your own login credentials for your website, hosting, domain registrar, and any platforms I set up on your behalf. I never create accounts that only I can access.
  • Data minimisation. I only collect the data I need to do my job well. I don't harvest your customers' data for my own purposes, and I don't sell it to anyone. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

How I Work With Contractors & Collaborators

As PSOS grows, I occasionally work with other professionals — designers, developers, copywriters, or specialists — to deliver the best outcomes for clients.

When I do, I hold myself to the same standards I apply to my own work:

  • Fair pay. Contractors are paid fairly and promptly. I don't push rates down to unsustainable levels or delay payments.
  • Clear scope. Every engagement has a written brief with clear expectations, deliverables, and timelines. No one should be guessing what's expected of them.
  • Respectful communication. I treat every collaborator as a valued partner. Good work comes from good relationships.
  • Credit where due. If a collaborator makes a significant contribution to a project, I acknowledge it (with their permission).

What You Can Expect From Me

  1. Honesty — even when it's not what you want to hear. If something isn't working, I'll tell you. If I make a mistake, I'll own it and fix it.
  2. Prompt communication. You won't be left wondering where things are at. I respond to emails and messages within one business day.
  3. Reliability. If I say I'll do something by a certain date, I do it. If something changes, I'll let you know straight away.
  4. Clarity. You'll never be left confused about what I've done, why I've done it, or what happens next.
  5. Respect for your budget. I work with small businesses because I understand what it's like to watch every dollar. I'll never push you toward something that doesn't deliver genuine value.

Got Questions?

If anything on this page raises a question, or if you'd like to talk about working together, get in touch. No pressure, no sales pitch — just a straight conversation about what you need and whether I'm the right fit.
